30 Teams gathered on a beautiful summer day to compete in the 2019 27-Hole Member-Member Matchplay at Hollow Brook Golf Club yesterday. Once again course conditions were optimal thanks to the hard work of course superintendent Chris Smith and his team. Some great golf was played throughout the day resulting in some highly competitive flights. The 8 teams who won their flights advanced to the shootout on 18 with the rest of the field enjoying drinks and watching from the upper terrace. After a glorious approach shot into the 18th green by Jeff Fraites, his partner Zach Zweibon rolled in a long putt to seal victory. A huge thank you to all the staff at Hollow Brook for another fantastic event that was thoroughly enjoyed by the membership.
